18 January - extra

Yesterday was 45 years since the accident over Palomares, Spain where the Americans lost 4 nuclear bombs in a mid air collision. There is still cleaning up to be done we are told...

Here is a piece from an English newspaper, but there is much more in the Spanish press..

One of the chaps in the local bar remembers when it happened and one of the bombs falling just down the road from his parents house...

21 December - extra

MANUEL RAMONE - a friend and lovely man, who sat in the corner at Monika's Bar, who always had a smile and a good word for everyone. We will always remember him, as he made for the most perfect King on 3 Kings Day in Monika's a couple of years ago. He left us sometime between midnight and 11.00 am today. Hasta luego Grande Amigo.

their answer...

Hello our lovely friends,
We are here planning the weekends activities and missing you both, no sooner do we get used to having you here when it is time for you to go back, hopefully you will be back with us permanently soon - have you booked your weekend yet?

Love the windmill, trust you to find something in 5 minutes that we have missed for 6 years!

See you soon.
