9 July - special

A couple of weeks ago we were introduced formally to a new friend... we have seen him for a number of years at the beach bar, (Tiggers) but we were introduced and shared a couple of beers in the early evening sun, discovering a new friend. Nico was a lovely Dutchman, and all around enjoyed his company. It's our sadness that this was to be the only time we would get to spend with him, as later that evening, at the end of a lovely time with friends, he passed away suddenly.

We know the community that he was part of, and they, as we do, mourn his passing....

If you can not get to Benito's to share a farewell drink, share, as we will, a virtual cup to a nice man... good luck Nico...
