14 February - extra
10 years on, and it's still wonderful, well actually better...
Tonight we came off the wagon after 7 weeks, since 2 Jan.. with a nice bottle of wine at Kew Grill. This together with a very nice steak we had there, and oysters as a starter...
We also had a quick stop off at the Shakespeare... (and I do mean quick...) where we had our reception 10 years ago... all we can say is things have changed in that time....
ps.. to Sheila, Talj, Laurie, Sandy, Libby and Margaret many thanks for your wishes, also a special thanks to LBC...

St Mary's College - 1923 the purchase of the Walpole-Waldegrave property at Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, from Lord Michelham. The college has continued to provide stewardship to the original Strawberry Hill Gothic-Revival villa on the property, built in the eighteenth century by Horace Walpole. As of 2006, however, the Strawberry Hill Trust will finance a needed restoration of this historic building. - taken from wikipedia.

1 February - extra
A little more detail, as Sheila asked so nice, but I'll not reveal the full location but here's a clue.. Horace Walpole, I guess a blogger of his day, lived here...
