These childhood holidays acted upon Virginia Woolf's imagination and formed the background to many of her novels. Godrevy Lighthouse, the source of inspiration for the acclaimed, 'To The Lighthouse'. It is now maintained by the National Trust and the magnificent surrounding coastline is open to public access and is a great spot for walks.
