FRIDAY 8 AUGUST Richmond – restaurant fire
Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters were called to a blaze at a restaurant on Hill Street in Richmond this morning. The fire badly damaged the restaurant which is on the first floor of a three floor building.
The Brigade was called at 0622 and the fire was under control by 1042. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. Fire crews from Richmond and the surrounding area attended the incident.
